If you believe that content on the Academatrix platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent with the following information:

2. A description of the material you believe to be infringing, including its location on the platform (e.g., a URL or specific course).
3. Your contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email address.

5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Removal of Allegedly Infringing Material
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
• Notify the user who uploaded the material of the takedown and provide them with a copy of the DMCA notice.

3. Counter-Notification by the Alleged Infringer
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent with the following information:

a. Required Information:

1. A description of the material that was removed or disabled and its location prior to removal.
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
3. Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material unless the original complainant files a legal action against you within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notification.

4. Repeat Infringers
Academatrix reserves the right to terminate user accounts that are found to repeatedly infringe on the copyrights of others.

5. Good Faith and Misrepresentation
Submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal consequences. All notices and counter-notifications must be made in good faith.

6. Changes to This DMCA Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and the “Effective Date” will be updated accordingly.
